Manufacturing planner needed for Aerospace Manufacturing facility

Serious inquiries only – must be able to pass competency exam

Experience required:

  • Extensive knowledge of common inspection measuring equipment including, surface plates, micrometers, height gages, radius gages, bore gauges, and dial indicators.
  • Extensive knowledge of OEM and industry standard Engineering, specifications, and requirements (Bell Helicopter, Boeing, Lockheed, Triumph, Etc.)
  • Highly proficient in blueprint reading
  • Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings, standards, and specifications
  • Strong shop related math, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • At least 2 years machined parts/surface plate inspection required
  • 1+ years supervising others preferred
  • Fundamental understanding of a quality system, documentation, and implementation to ISO Standards /AS9100
  • Detail oriented, organized and highly motivated
  • Experience using basic Office Applications/computer
  • Experience using Discus software and Net-Inspect

Job Duties:

  • Create and maintain AS9102 inspection reports and bubble drawings
  • Maintain library of current engineering, specifications, instructions, etc.
  • Analyze and implement change control notifications
  • Prepare Quality documents where necessary
  • Assist with the Quality Calibration System
  • Participate in problem solving with QA, QC and Machine Shop personnel
  • The employee may be required to follow other job-related instructions, and to perform other job-related duties as requested

1st Shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday – Friday
