Job Description
Fore Machine Company is currently seeking a reliable person with extensive experience as a CNC Programmer and also a machinist to fill the role of CNC Machine Operator for first and second shift in our A/C and heated shop. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will set up and be in charge of CNC mills, lathes and multiaxis machines. Overall duties for the CNC Machine operator will involve:

  • Performing quality control on all parts
  • Reading and analyzing aerospace blueprints

Job Responsibilities
As CNC Machine Operator for Fore Machine Company, you will mainly work with Haas and Mazak machines and the Mastercam CNC program. Specific responsibilities of the CNC Machine Operator include:

  • Program Mastercam at level X thru X5
  • Operating Mazak  and haas with 4 or 5 axis capabilities
  • Making own set-ups and have good set of tools
  • Following all shop safety procedures, such as wearing appropriate clothing, footwear and eye
    protection

Requirements
As a CNC Machine Operator for Fore Machine Company, you must have superior mechanical aptitude, strong problem-solving skills, pay impeccable attention to detail and be able to work as part of a team.  Qualifications for the CNC Machine Operator position include:

  •  Minimum 5 years experience in CNC machining
  • Proficiency with Mastercam  ( Mastercam X experience a must for Programming job)
  • Understanding the machining and blueprint requirements that go along with Aerospace Machining
  • Owning machining  tools
  • Having solid communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Having strong inspection skills on surface plate and/or CMM
